How to use lavender with dogs

While some plants can be toxic to dogs, lavender is not. Lavender is especially well-suited to benefit both dogs and their caring owners in a variety of everyday ways.

Organic Lavender Essential Oil

  • Regularly apply to deter fleas and ticks without chemicals
  • For anxious pups, add a few drops to their beds or crates for calming rest

Lavender Pet Shampoo

  • Gently cleanse, discourage fleas and enhance coat shine

Lavender Therapeutic Salve

  • Soothe and repair hot spots, cracked pads, inflamed paws or dry noses

Lavender Treatment Stick

  • On-the-go care for any skin irritation

Lavender Insect Repellant

  • Spritz their coat before going on a walk to keep pesky bugs at bay

Lavender Gourmet Dog Cookies

  • They contain nothing artificial, just straightforward goodness that your pup will love!

Lavender's highly effective insect repelling, antiseptic, cleansing, topically soothing and aromatherapy properties provide ample ways to care for your precious pup naturally and fragrantly.

Our dog Blue, a French Bulldog mix, can attest to lavender's efficacy! He particularly loves our Lavender Gourmet Dog Cookies.

I have used the Therapeutic Lavender Salve (originally purchased from Pelindaba Lavender then from The Lavender Store) on my Boxer’s hot spots for over a year. It heals the area within 24 hours after I apply it. I usually put it on in the morning and evening. I try to keep it on the are for a couple days even if the area is no longer red. You only need to use a dab of the salve. It goes a long way. I use it on my hands, especially in the winter to keep them from chapping since I wash my hands frequently when I’m at work. Love the Therapeutic Salve!
